“lawvol” (aka Matt Fisher) practices with the Raleigh, North Carolina boutique law firm of Bode, Call & Stroupe, L.L.P. His practice focuses on administrative health law and related litigation for healthcare and business clients across the State of North Carolina and beyond. In particular, he focuses on representing clients in Certificate of Need and regulatory compliance matters.
As an avocation, he also serves as his firm’s informal “computer guy” whenever their IT consultant is out of the office.
Matt has wasted untold hours trying every single computer application designed for lawyers he can get his hands on, and has never seen a 30-day free trial offer that he could turn down.
In his spare time, Matt loves to read and write, he loves to listen to and play music (especially on his 1968 Gibson acoustic guitar), and is addicted to University of Tennessee football in ways which are both ridiculous and unnatural.
Matt is a graduate of both the University of Tennessee (B.A.) and the University of North Carolina (J.D.). He is married “above his pay grade” to his wonderful wife, who is also an attorney.
